Metal Pourer
Metal Pourers are responsible for pouring molten metal into sand molds to produce parts. Metal pourers must be able to perform many labor intensive tasks such as loading furnaces, pouring ladles, and assist with mold handling. Metal pourers undergo on the job training to master the skills of understanding viscosity, metal additives, and the programming of automated metal pouring machines. Successful candidates must be able to multi-task, read and/or listen to foundry instructions, and handle hot work environment.
